NHS Jewish BRCA testing programme

Launched on 16 May, the NHS retrospective genetic testing programme provides genetic testing via R208/7 panels to people who have previously received a diagnosis of high grade non-mucinous epithelial ovarian cancer, triple negative breast cancer, or bilateral breast cancer.

The programme will systematically send invites to people’s home addresses, and if anyone presents to general practice with questions, they should be advised that if they are eligible for the programme, they will receive an invite in due course.
