Infected Blood Inquiry

New patients who register with a new GP practice, and were born before 1996, who use the online GP registration service will be asked if they received a blood transfusion prior to that year.

If you indicate that you have, please let the practice know so that they discuss, offer or signpost to hepatitis C testing.

Free home self-tests are available for patients to order on the hepctest.nhs.uk website.

Please note, this service is only available for people aged over 18 years old, with an address in England.
