Home visits are only for people who are genuinely housebound. This means people who, for medical reasons, cannot use private or public transport to attend the surgery.
Home visits are made at the discretion of the doctor. A doctor may telephone you first to decide if a visit is necessary.

In the case of suspected heart attack, stroke, dificulty breathing, severe trauma, burns, bleeding or other emergency conditions do not telephone the
surgery. Telephone the emergency services on 999.
Other urgent problems

During surgery hours please choose Option 1 and tell the receptionist if you have an urgent problem. A doctor will then speak to you and offer advice, an appointment or a visit.
