Choose and Book

All patients needing a referral to secondary care are now allowed to choose from several options about where they are referred. When your doctor refers you, you will receive information about possible hospitals or clinics that are suitable, both in the local area and outside the area. Once you have chosen your hospital you will have the information to book your own appointment either by phone or on the internet.
