We provide a fast and secure service called EMIS Access that enables you to access your healthcare online.

Once you have registered your account you can book appointments, request repeat medication, send secure messages and update your personal information.

To register for this service you will need to bring photographic proof of ID to the reception front desk. We will give you a Registration Letter which will contain your security details. You will need these details to register your account and to log in whenever you use your account.

BOOKING, VIEWING AND CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS

• You can book an appointment up to two week in advance for a

• If the doctor / clinic does not appear in the drop down list of choices it means that
  • no appointments are available in the next two weeks OR
  • this is a type of appointment for which we need you to speak to a receptionist before booking. Telephone: 01273 770555
• To see all appointments for a particular doctor or clinic, scroll down and then scroll right.
• Please only book a blood test if asked to do so by a doctor or nurse
• Doctor appointments are for 10 minutes. If you need a longer appointment, for instance for a postnatal check, then please ring our reception team on 01273 770555.
• You can make any appointment with a doctor into a Telephone consultation;
  • write “Phone” and give your telephone number next to the appointment.
  • Remember that telephone appointments with a doctor may sometimes run late, just like face to face appointments.
• You can view and cancel all appointments which you have booked - but please note that same day appointments with a duty doctor booked via reception may not be listed at the correct time – please follow the instructions of the receptionist.

VIEWING AND ORDERING REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

You can view, order and track all medication which your doctor has decided you need to take long term (called Repeat Medication).

SENDING MESSAGES TO THE PRACTICE

You can send and receive secure messages using your online account. Your message will automatically include your personal details so it can safely be added to your medical record. If a reply is needed we will reply to your online account. Unlike email, it is safe to write about personal medical matters using your online account. However, please do not use this message system for urgent matters.
